Herriman is at the south west corner of Salt Lake County. It is located roughly between the Oquirrh Mountain and 4800 west and 11800 South to the southern edge of the valley. It boarders Riverton to the north east and Bluffdale to the west.
Until the end of the century Herriman primarily farm land and horse properties. Now the land has grown nothing but homes since then. Between 2000 and 2006, Harriman’s population and property appreciation has soared tremendously high. Herriman has quickly become one of Salt Lake Valley’s best places to live and has been the favorite spot of most of the counties home builders.
Herriman still has a small-community atmosphere with wide open farm land yet to be built on.
